This past year at Ventana felt full in the best of ways. Members discovered new hobbies, shared meaningful conversations, and enjoyed fresh updates to our facilities and programming. Some moments were big and lively, others quieter and reflective, but each one added to an unforgettable year rooted in community. As we look back at 2025, these are the highlights that brought us together.
The Gatherings We Loved Most
Life at Ventana is always active, but this year delivered a few standout celebrations that Members are still talking about. Casino Night was a clear favorite, filling the room with laughter, friendly competition, and plenty of card table victories.
Kindness Around Every Corner
Even the smallest acts of kindness and generosity have a way of shaping the tone of a community, and Ventana members are no exception. The Knitter’s Group quietly impacted lives through the creation of handmade prayer squares that offered comfort and encouragement to people both inside and outside of the community.
Guests Who Made an Impression
Some of our most meaningful moments of the year came from guests who shared their stories and their time. These visits brought perspective, connection, and enriching conversation for all.
Holocaust survivor Hannah Schtrobe’s visit left a deep impression and sparked thoughtful discussions long after the event ended.
Fresh Passions and Fun Finds
2025 was a year of curiosity and honing new passions. Whether it was trying something new, or reconnecting with familiar pastimes, Members didn’t waste any time enjoying everything our community has to offer. The Oscar Preview Party with film critic Gary Cogill quickly became a Member favorite, turning talk of silver screen standouts into a lively community-wide event.

Ventana continued to grow in ways that support comfort and wellness while sparking joy and encouraging connection. These updates made our beloved spaces even more inviting. The Central Atrium saw a beautiful transformation, paired with upgrades to the pool area and new features like the Memory Support sensory room.
Celebrations Worth Sharing
Some moments deserve extra celebration, and this year was no exception. We loved being a part of each and every Member milestone—from birthdays and anniversaries to welcoming new grandchildren. Congratulations Ted and Nancy on the commemoration of their 75th wedding anniversary!

A Future Full of Possibility
We can’t wait to see what 2026 has in store for our community. Whether it’s new amenities or improved tools that support Member care and wellbeing, there’s a lot to look forward to here at Ventana. Plans for community upgrades include an aviary for Assisted Living, enhancements to the physical therapy gym, and new technologies that will strengthen healthcare support.
We’re so grateful for another year of serving our incredible Members and their families. Thank you for making 2025 unforgettable. Looking ahead, we can’t wait to see what the new year brings.
