Short-Term and Long-Term Senior Rehab Services
Ventana’s senior rehab services offer inpatient therapy services for short- or long-term therapy. For those in inpatient therapy, a typical day will vary depending on the necessary level of care. Generally speaking, though, you’ll wake up each morning in a beautiful, private room with a luxurious bathroom. Therapy sessions take place in the morning and afternoon, both ranging from 30-60 minutes. When you’re not in a session, we offer nutritious meal selections, as well as, wellness activities and amenities.
Personalized, State-of-the-Art Therapy
To get started, you’ll meet with a Ventana therapy team member for an initial consultation. Here, we’ll cover the basics like insurance information, medical history, your medical order for therapy and your recovery goals. You’ll then complete tests for balance, strength and endurance to establish a baseline to build from during your therapy sessions. At this point, we’ll work with you to create a personalized therapy plan specifically designed for your needs. Those seeking therapy services are typically looking for either physical, occupational or speech therapy. Our team members are trained and qualified to develop exercises and activities to help you improve your wellness no matter what your needs may be and are available 7 days a week. We’re able to offer these services in a state-of-the-art community with top-notch equipment and an energizing space to conduct the therapy sessions. As an example, one of the most popular pieces of equipment we have is our balance machine. This machine goes beyond traditional balance improvement through interactive games that challenge your balance and endurance. A T.V. screen on this machine offers patients a chance to feel like they’re walking the streets of Paris or on a relaxing, sandy beach. Along with our expert team, we also have a four-legged friend as part of our therapy program! Sophie is our on-site therapy dog that brings a smile to our residents’ faces.
